Typed the post in Dec, but posting now as things are concluded for the year :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One thing which ought to be mentioned is, i have started posting a bit regularly in this blog in the year 2007.
Last year this time, i was applying for Singapore Visa.
Mid - Jan : Went to Singapore for a week for project work. Met a few good people. Met my friend Riyas and his spouse after 6 years.. Had quite an interesting Thai/ Chinese dinners. Roamed in the botanical garden of Singapore and in Orchard road... Missed visiting the Orchid garden by few minutes. Roamed so much that i was literally exhausted while boarding the flight back to India.
End - Jan : Took a week off to go home. Realized that it's time to move to a new job in life.
1st week of Feb : Started updating my resume. It was last updated in August 2004.
End - Feb : Applied to TCS. Well, plan was to join either a startup or a service industry. A strict no for MNCs.
March : Uploaded the CV in Naukri.
March-Apr : Every weekend was spent in attending interviews... There were worse interviews, great interviews, junk interviews and very predictable interviews... Overall, had an amazing experience. The whole experience was quite an eye opener for me. It made me realize a few harsh facts. Got a few offers. Finalized on one offer. Took a vacation of 1 week.
1st week of May : Informed my manager about the decision. Got June 8th as last day.
June : Joined the new company. Things are normal.
July - August: work is fine, few new learnings. Realized that it's time to give GMAT. Joined the Princeton class.
September - Oct : Weekends were spent in classes. Mocks were pathetic in the beginning. Got to a decent score in the last week of Oct.
Nov 7 : Was on leave in the first week of Nov. Gave 2 Mocks and ended up with good score. D day was on Nov 7th. Atlast ended with a decent 700. Went home for diwali and back to work.
Nov 14 : Applied for ISB, Round 2.
Dec 19 : Got the Interview call.
Jan 24 : Attended the Interview. Screwed it up due to several reasons with main reason being procrastination.
This ends all the pending activities from 2007.
New activities have already begun for 2008 ;)

Not thinking deep enough
From my experience, one of the main advantages of blogging is, one gets to think deeply on a specific thought, take all various angles into consideration and also package all the points into a good post.
so eventhough the end result (post) looks like a hodgepodge, for sure some amount of dedicated thinking time of the blogger has gone in that post!!
and this might be the exact reason why i have been unable to translate many of my thoughts into posts here.
everyday i get atleast one point which i feel like writing a post about... but i end up with no post even after a week.
it's really good that i have thought deep and dug this reasoning out... the real benefit will come when i consciously try to avoid this mistake :)
